So
so sorry that i didn't write ya'll yesterday, i know you were expecting
some goodness from me!!! So it turns out that my p-days are more busy
then normal days, not fair right??? We learned this last week, and
things got even busier this week, ya'll will probably hear me whining
about it laters!!!
So... Where did we leave offf?? Thursday? Ok last thursday.
We had a pretty standard day on thursday ya know the usual, wake up go
to class, go to class and go to class... Throw a gym sesh and two meals
in between those two classs schedules and you literally have my schedule
every day!!! We did get to do trc tho which is awesome, trc is when
volunteers come to be dummies for the missionaries to teach, its super
exciting and i went off in spanish, it was so cool!!! Friday was
probably nothing special considering i don't remember a thing from it...
Saturday was hilarious tho, so we sent a missionary off friday morning,
it was this super smart canadian kid who was super arrogant about
leaving!!! Apparently since he was from canda he got to leave a week
earlier then the rest of his district, or so he thought... LOL Saturday
morning when he showed up back at the apartement was absolutely
hilarious hahahhe was so frustrated, they had flown him all over the
country for him to find out that he wasnt allowed to leave till he got
to go with the rest of his district, i feel for the kid, considering he
spent an entire day and a night at aiports not knowing what was going on
hahahaha its fine he got over it!!!
Sunday was fantastic, i love sundays, sacrament meeting in
tghe mornings and then we spent all day studying (in english, its so
refreshing) and learning from the one and only bro monson, this guy will
blow your mind im serious!!! The devotional that night wasn't anything
special but oh well, i probably just have a really bad attitude about
the devotionals because i don't fit in the seats... oh well, its their
fault they were biased in the seat design!!! ALso we all got ice cream
from the creamery on sunday, i know, i'm fat sshaaadup.
Monday was fafntastico, well for a missionary stuck in spirit
prison that is... Lots of class and spiritual goodness, so it was
good... if your into that kind of thing!!!
Tuesday was
probably the best day tho, besides absolutely wrecking in volleyball we
actually had an incredible devotional again, who spoke??? David Bednar,
again!!! AHhh that guys the bomb dot com, he answer4ee more questions
from christmas and we learneed so much i love it!!! The spirit was so
strong when he bore his testimony it wouldve made you all cry, except
for me: pimps only cry during their farewell talks, thats it!!! hahaha
and finally i can give you the low down on pday, well most4 of it!!!
' We woke up early and hit up some temple time, anyone that
knows me knows that i love me some temple time, it was bomb
bombombombbombombomb! Ill throw up a pick in a sec, i expect an
instagram colty, don't get slacking on me fag boy!!!! hahaha hows the
real world its bneen a minute??? anyt ways after that we came back and
hit up DPcheesesteaks, lets just say it was the best dp run weve had ;)
haha afterwards we got to host the newbies, it sucks hjaving to host on
pdays but its good that i like hosting haha i feel for most of those
kids, they look like they're about to cry when they hop off the bus @
west campus so the opportunity to actually help someone is awesome, just
remind those kids that life goes on and put a smile on their face is
awesome!!! Service, do work baby!!!
During free time we played risk, just realize that everyone in
my zone has to call me elder hicks the conquerer... Yea i go hard in
risk, so what!!! hahahaha well thats preetty much everything that went
down in spirit prison this weeks, so imma about to leave ya the same way
i always do, with an inspirational scripture and lots of love!!!
hahaha more love tho, the scriptures will only inspire you if you let
em!!! so open your hears and let jesus come in and change your life.l...
or at the very least make your day!!! hahah so scripture of the week is
actually two scriptures so hold on to your britches cuz ish is about to
get real!!!
1 John 1:5-7 " This then is the message which we have heard of him,
and declare unto you, that god is light and in him is no darkness at
all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness,
we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he is in
the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of jesus
christ his son cleanseth us from all sin." Alright, so what did we
learn here? That the light of christ overcomes all darkness even the
darkness of sin!!! We also learn that we can walk in the light of
christ, if we have fellowship [love] one with another... So we all can
walk in the light of christ, or show the light of christ by loving one
another! What advice would i give you about showing the light of christ
bby loving one another??? I'd give you Matthew 5:16 "let your light so
shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your
father which is in heaven." Ya know, the more i study thescriptures the
more i come to learn that the main point of the gospel is loving every
single child of god like christ did, so this week i'd like to challenge
ya'll to love!!! Reach out to someone in need, lighten their burdens
through service and fellowship!!! Make a new friend!! Be the friend
that someone needs and i promise you that ye will recieve blessings from
our heavenly father as you continue to care for and look after his
other children!!! Love you all! Have a good week!! Don't be afraid to
